CHEAP FLIGHT GERMANY" Each year, 1,700 air traffic controllers coordinate 2.2 million flight arrivals and departures at 17 international German airports, and oversee more than 2.7 million flight movements through German airspace. In response to the movement toward a competitive environment for air traffic control services initiated by the German government, DFS wanted to make its IT processes more efficient, while improving quality and reducing cost. In order to examine IT processes and improve their effectiveness, DFS needed to increase visibility into its current service offerings.
