As one of the world's largest carriers and with more than 2,300 daily departures, Continental Airlines moves a significant amount of mail every year, partnering with the USPS. Continental Airlines has deployed the webMethods Integration Platform to meet USPS' recent CAIR-2003 air transport mandate, requiring airlines to conduct important communications with them via EDI.
Of notable success and testament to the ease of deployment of the webMethods Integration Platform, Continental Airlines was able to move into production and conduct EDI transactions with the USPS in less than four weeks.
